Appeals court orders FAA to consider setting minimum seat size standards

There may be a glimmer of hope for those of us who are tired of squeezing into ever-smaller airline seats. On Friday, July 28, the U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C. ordered the Federal Aviation Administration to review seat size and pitch with an eye toward placing limits on the 'Incredible Shrinking Airline Seat.'
