The winner of the competition, which is very simple and easy to enter, will receive a self-guided, eight-day trip for two starting from Naples, along with three guidebooks: a DK Eyewitness Travel Guide to Italy, a Travel Guide to Naples and the Amalfi Coast, and Top 10 Naples & the Amalfi Coast.
The tour is organized so that three different cities serve as hubs for exploring the area. Guests will spend one night in a three-star hotel in Naples, two nights in Agriturismo in the town of Agerola, and four nights in a four-star hotel in Amalfi.

The second day will including a visit to Mt. Vesuvius, the mountain that erupted and completely destroyed Pompeii in 79 A.D. Heading down the mountain’s slopes, stop for lunch before visiting the ruins of Pompeii. Afterward, take a motor coach to Agerola, high above the Amalfi Coast.
Other days will include a visit to Monte Saint’Angelo, a walk along the “Footpath of the Gods," a visit to Positano, and a boat trip to Capri.
If this isn’t enough to intrigue you, rent the 2003 movie Under the Tuscan Sun for some up-close views of Positano. That should do seal the deal!
For more details, see the complete itinerary here. The only difference is that the winner will receive a self-guided tour instead of one that includes tour guides.
One Foot Abroad travels will arrange all accommodations, airport transfers, luggage transfers and breakfasts. Travel to and from Italy, lunches, dinners and other incidentals will be the responsibility of the winner.
Entries may be submitted here through July 31. The contest is open to residents of the United Kingdom, fifty United States and the District of Columbia, Canada (excluding Québec), and the Republic of Ireland, who are 18 and older. The winner will be selected at random on Aug. 1, 2017. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received.
