Omni Scottsdale Resort offers three-day deal

Looking for a last-minute getaway for the Fourth or planning your Memorial Day weekend? If you love the desert, the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia may have just what you seek.

Camelback Villa
Until midnight Eastern time June 29, the property is offering Summer Bounceback rates as low as $109 per night. In addition, other services are also on sale.

Guests can add either a 50-minute spa service at the on-site Joya Spa for $125 or an 80-minute service for $190. Each represents a savings of more than 20 percent off their regular rates.

At check-in, each registered guest will be given a Passport to Savings which includes special discounts throughout the resort plus a chance to receive a free spa day.

Rates are good for stays from June 27 through Sept. 30 and do not include taxes, resort or parking fees.

Kasbah Pool
The $29 per night resort charge covers a range of amenities, including complimentary Wi-Fi throughout property, access to a 24-hour state-of-the-art Joya Fitness center, access to Kasbah and Oasis pools, in-room access to Netflix, complimentary bottled water, discounted fitness classes and day spa passes, access to seasonal resort activities, an Omni Get Fit Kit, an Omni Sleep Well Kit that Includes ear plugs and eye mask, Omni Kids Crew Backpack, and complimentary membership to Omni’s Select Guest Loyalty Program, and other benefits.

Self-parking and valet parking are both $22 per night.

Located at 4949 East Lincoln Drive, the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia is just 10 minutes from downtown Scottsdale and 25 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX).

My take

I have long been a fan of Omni Hotels. Although I do not have the opportunity to stay at them as often as I would like, the treatment I have received when I have stayed has been consistently excellent across properties from the West Coast to the East Coast, and smack in the middle in Texas.

Desert vacations during the summer, however, are not for the faint of heart.

Cortijo Plaza
During June, flights were halted at PHX because high temperatures exceeded the maximum temperature allowed for legal flight operations. Granted, this year is unusual, but even average daytime highs during July, August and September are hot: 104, 102 and 97 degrees, respectively.

Still, the desert displays its own unique beauty and, if that appeals, then the deal offered by the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia might be just the thing.
