Book Dubai, win the Seychelles

AVANI Deira Dubai Hotel is offering guests who book online the chance to win a weekend getaway in the Indian Ocean paradise of the Seychelles.

Guests who make any online reservation for a stay at the AVANI Deira Dubai Hotel online will be entered into a drawing that could net them the grand prize of a weekend at the hotel’s sister property, the AVANI Seychelles Barbarons Resort & Spa. Reservations must be made between Oct. 21 and Nov. 21, but can be for any stay at the AVANI Deira Dubai through December 2017.

Second and third prizes are a Dubai weekend getaway for two with breakfast, or dining for two at “NOT YOUR USUAL BBQ,” the hotel’s lavish Friday Brunch at Jigsaw Restaurant.

Friday is the first day of the weekend in Dubai and Friday brunches are as popular there as Sunday brunches in North America. For a more in-depth overview of this interesting city, read the article, “Making the most of Dubai."

A five-star hotel located four kilometers from Dubai International Airport (DXB), the AVANI Deira is located at the corner of Abu Baker Al Siddique and Sallahudin Road, just steps from the Abu Baker Al Siddique Metro Station, four kilometers from the city’s historic Gold Souk and Spice Souk, nine km from the Dubai World Trade Centre and 13 km from the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building.

Reservations for the AVANI Deira Dubai Hotel can be made on the hotel’s website, located here.

Getting there

No airlines fly direct from the U.S. to Mahé Island but many offer convenient connections through European and Middle East gateway cities. Those include Air France, Air Seychelles, Condor, Emirates, Ethiopian Airlines, Etihad Airways, South African Airways and Turkish Airlines.
