A U.S. Bankruptcy Court judge in Manhattan on Nov. 27
approved the deal reached with federal regulators by American Airlines parent AMR
Corp. (NYSE:AMR) and US Airways Group (NYSE:LCC), paving the way for the merger
to move forward with its $17.2 billion merger and create the world’s biggest
airline.
