I am sitting at Sacramento Airport (SMF), waiting for my flight home after visiting the kids and grand-kids for Father's Day. Logged on via the complimentary wireless access provided by the airport, it punctuates a question that occurred to me earlier in the weekend.
If airports like SMF, DFW, MSP, and others can provide free Internet access for all, and Starbucks can provide free access for the price of a cup of coffee, why can't hotels that charge $119 a night provide free access to what has become a basic service?
I'm just sayin'...
