When I logged on to my e-mail this morning, I received an invitation to enter a sweepstakes to win 150,000 airline miles from Alaska Airlines and its partner, American Airlines. When I tried to enter the sweepstakes less than three hours later, I got a message saying the sweepstakes had ended.
The time stamp on this e-mail was 6:25 a.m. PST this morning:
At 9:10 a.m., I had a few minutes so I thought I'd enter. What the heck, right? Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Imagine my surprise when I got this message less than three hours after the e-mail was sent.
It is any wonder that American is in bankruptcy? I sincerely hope Alaska doesn't follow suit.
