A rather bizarre thought occurred to me this morning with regard to hotel housekeeping services.
As they have for many years, a number of hotels put paper caps on top of water glasses and coffee mugs to indicate they are clean and ready to use, like to one at right.
Why, then, don't they still put that paper strip on the toilet seat that used to read, "Sanitized for your protection"?
