FT. COLLINS, CO: Hilton Ft. Collins

As we were driving in to Ft. Collins to visit my brother-in-law and his family, my wife and I were quite pleased to find a Hilton within a few minutes of our relatives' home.

The property is located directly across the street from Colorado State University, is close to other attractions including Old Town Fort Collins, and a short drive from the Rocky Mountains. In fact, many of the hotel's 250+ rooms have great views of this majestic range.

Rooms are very nice and equipped with all the latest amenities including wireless Internet access, flat-screen TVs, work areas, high-end toiletries in the baths, and robes waiting in the rooms -- a touch we always appreciate.

The hotel has a nine-story open lobby, a bar and restaurant on site, a concierge lounge for guests who choose one of the concierge floors, a shop and -- rather notably -- a complimentary business center. Internet access and the first two printed pages are free, which is a nice departure from what seems to be the standard these days. On-site parking in the open lot is free.

Service is excellent. We enjoyed outstanding treatment from all of the staff with whome we came into contact. From the bartender to the front desk manager, everyone made us feel at home. When we return to Ft. Collins, we'll definitely return!
