Seattle-headquartered Holland America Lines is offering future guests the opportunity to reserve a cruise for $1. The catch is, the offer is only good today.
"In honor of King’s Day, a beloved national holiday in the Netherlands, we invite you to reserve your next cruise with a deposit of just one dollar," the line said on its website, adding that "We’re proud of our Dutch seafaring tradition and 145 years of service."
The $1 deposit can apply to more than 900 cruise itineraries, from cruises to Alaska to those that ply the waters off Canada and New England to Cuba, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia. Cruises run from as short as five days to 28 days and longer.
In making the announcement, the line paid homage to its roots.
"Our heritage is woven into the fabric of every Holland America Line cruise, from tea with apple and bacon pancakes at the Grand Dutch Cafe to our partnership with Amsterdam’s famed Rijksmuseum and the reproductions of Dutch masters that grace our ships."
More details about the cruises and the special promotion are available on HollandAmerica.com, but don't delay. Time is short!
