Norwegian Cruise Lines has launched a promotion it calls Distinctive Voyages, a portfolio of incentives for passengers who book new cruises over the weeks and months ahead.
The portfolio includes a couple of short-term promotions. During Balcony Bonus Week, which ends Aug. 7, guests who book a new cruise of five nights or longer and choose a balcony stateroom or higher will receive a $500 on-board credit per stateroom. This offer is not valid for sailings aboard the Norwegian Joy.
Also through Aug. 7, guests who book a cruise to Cuba for the 2018 season aboard the Norwegian Sky or Norwegian Sun through the Havana Nights promotion can reserve their sailings for a modest deposit of $50. Those who book a 2018 Cuba sailing by Aug. 31 will also receive a $50 onboard credit.
The cruise line is also extending its Free at Sea promotion through Aug. 31. That promotion provides guests who book a new sailing of three days or longer in an ocean-view, balcony or mini-suite, their choice of two amenities.
Choices include unlimited open bar, a specialty dining package, $50 toward shore excursions in each port per stateroom, 250 minutes of free Wi-Fi, or Norwegian’s Friends & Family Sail Free offer that allows the third and fourth guests to sail for free on many 2017 and 2018 sailing dates.
Guests booking inside staterooms or Norwegian’s Studio staterooms for solo travelers can choose one amenity from the list of five.
Those seeking a more upscale experience and who book a cruise in a suite or The Haven by Norwegian® will be provided all five amenities, adding up to $2,500 in value to their cruise.
Similar to the Free At Sea promotion, the Free At Sea Hawaii promotion is available for seven-day, inter-island Hawaii itineraries aboard the Pride of America. Hawaii cruisers can select from a free one-night pre-cruise hotel stay, reduced airfare from select gateways, a specialty dining package, pre-paid service charges for the first and second guest in the stateroom, a $50 per port shore excursion credit per stateroom, or Norwegian’s Friends & Family Sail Free.
As with the other itineraries, guests who book a suite aboard Pride of America will receive all five offers.
For vacationers who want to experience the charm and magic of the holiday season at sea, the cruise line is offering its Holiday Bonus Bundle for bookings made through Aug. 31. This promotion offers a $100 on-board credit on select holiday sailings over the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s holidays. The Holiday Bonus Bundle may be combined with Free At Sea and Free At Sea Hawaii promotions.
Guests who book sailings of nine days or longer between Aug. 7 and Sept. 30 in stateroom categories of mini-suites or lower will receive a 120 minute phone call package, 250 minute Internet package, $50 per port credit toward shore excursions, up to $400 airfare credit and $100 hotel credit. This offer is available for new bookings made more than 90 days before sailing and does not apply to Haven and Suite categories.
In all, the various promotions apply to 121 sailing dates for itineraries in various parts of the world, including packages that focus on the history of Baltics to hiking in the Australian outback to exploring the jungles of South America, and more.
