New list names 50 best Caribbean beaches

The website Caribbean Journal has unveiled its 2015 list of the 50 best Caribbean beaches.

“While many companies aggregate lists of the world’s best beaches, this is the first time such a comprehensive line-up has been put together for the Caribbean,” the website’s publishers said in a news release, which also noted it was the first time the publication’s editorial team, which is comprised of leading Caribbean experts, has issued such a list.

“Our mission is to serve as the ultimate resource for everything related to Caribbean travel and tourism,” Alexander Britell, Caribbean Journal’s founder and editor–in-chief, said. “We pride ourselves on the specialized content we are able to provide travelers, as well as our ability to uncover the region’s hidden gems.”

Rendezvous Bay, Anguilla was named the Best Beach in the Caribbean.

Rendezvous Bay, Anguilla
“This beach was set apart from the rest because of its combination of turquoise blue waters, sugary soft sand and beautiful view of St. Martin,” the publication said, noting that, “Rendezvous Bay provides the perfect combination of scenery and privacy.”
