Now that the kids are back in school, the fourth annual Couples Season begins this week and runs through November at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea.
Guests who choose to stay at the Four Seasons Resort during Couple Season can get the benefit of the best rates of the year; no resort fee; special pricing in the restaurants, spa and shops; and other complimentary activities. Guests who book the luxury Resort's popular Experience More package can also receive a resort credit of up to $1,000 that can be applied toward services at The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Maui and at three of Hawaii’s most acclaimed restaurants - Ferraro’s, DUO, and Spago.
“Getting away from the daily stressors and distractions of life may be one of the best ways for couples to explore, revitalize and strengthen their ‘couple-ness,’” Jean Claude Wietzel, the property’s general manager, said in a statement announcing Couples Season.
The resort’s concierge team has designed a series of tailored experiences that represent a wide range of activities for guests of all ages.
Those interested in outdoor adventure can take part in ocean outrigger paddling, explore Maui’s picturesque beauty aboard a helicopter, feel the adrenaline rush of zip-lining, hike Maui’s Bamboo Forest Pipiwai Trail, or take lessons in the art of spearfishing.
Romantic settings and activities include poolside spa services at one of the resort’s 58 complimentary cabanas at the Fountain Pool, or relaxing at one of the Missoni designer cabanas at the adults-only Serenity Pool. Couple's massages are available in one of the resort’s oceanside Hawaiian hales. The resort also offers a completely customized oceanfront Ultimate Dinner.
Activities are also available for the cost-conscious, including a self-guided tour of the curated Hawaiian-inspired art collection and the use of the resort’s courtesy shuttle. Use of the tennis courts is free, as are introductory scuba lessons, the use of snorkeling gear and outrigger canoeing. Complimentary yoga and fitness classes are also available.
The resort also offers free cooking classes with the property’s top chefs, as well as lessons on creating tasty cocktails demonstrated by the resort’s champion mixologist.
Maui itself offers a wide range of activities, which I detailed in a previous post, Making the Most of Maui.
Aloha!
