American Airlines is showcasing the "enhanced entertainment, comfort and connectivity" of its new planes as part of a contest in which members of its AAdvantage® frequent flier program could with 250,000 miles.
In a Mar. 13 e-mail, the airline invited its AAdvantage® members to "Explore now and learn how you can stretch out, plug in, unwind, and relax like never before when you fly with us." Members are then directed to explore via this website, after which they can register for "The Look Inside Sweepstakes."
About a year ago, I had the pleasure of riding one of the airline's newest 777-300ER (extended range) jetliners and can confirm it is everything it's advertised to be. You can read the post here.
Unfortunately, I was not able to access the connectivity aboard the Triple-Seven and the other American Airlines flights I've taken recently have not offered Wi-Fi. However, as AA is acknowledging by adding the service, connectivity is increasingly important in our information age, and more airlines are attempting to meet that need with varying degrees of success. Read my most recent post on that topic here.
If you're an AAdvantage® member, it only takes a few seconds to scroll to the bottom of the web site and enter. And why not? You might win 250,000 miles, enough for several trips if you plan carefully.
Good luck!
