Embassy Suites Las Vegas Convention Center unveils honeymoon suite

The Embassy Suites Convention Center hotel in Las Vegas has unveiled its honeymoon suite and is making it available to non-honeymooners.

The non-gaming property, which is located near the famous Strip and within walking distance of the monorail and the Las Vegas Convention Center, recently converted its 1500-square foot owner’s suite into a honeymoon suite. Prior to its October 1 unveiling, the owner’s suite had never been available to the public, Cristina Lazar-Lopez, the hotel's director of sales and marketing, told TheTravelPro in an email.

Now, hotel guests can book the suite that includes a four-poster king size bed, large living area, spa-inspired bathroom, and large patio with stunning views of the strip. Click here to see more.

"We felt opening the honeymoon suite to our guests and offering a honeymoon package would be an excellent option for those looking to enjoy a romantic getaway to the Vegas area," Rene Ramos, the hotel’s general manager, said in a statement.

That honeymoon package is available whether guests are actually on their honeymoon or simply feeling romantic. It includes a chilled bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries delivered to the suite upon arrival in addition to the complimentary beverages and snacks at the hotel's evening reception, and a made-to-order breakfast the following morning that are provided to all the hotel's guests. Other hotel amenities include free guest parking, on-site Fountain Grill restaurant, indoor pool, outdoor sun deck, fitness center and business center.

En suite dining area
According to the hotel’s web site, the suite itself can be booked for about $400 per night when available. Adding the honeymoon package will increase that to about $500 per night.

If you’re thinking what I’m thinking, I have some bad news: the suite has apparently already been booked for the 2015 Valentine’s Day weekend!
